This business was very helpful and when I asked for assistance in checking on men's wedding bands they were very prompt in giving me what I needed. This family owned business has beautiful works of art and designs in the jewelry that they sale. Especially in the wedding rings for women. The men's wedding bands are just as beautiful as well. My husband first purchased my engagement ring here, then we went back to tell Cornelis how much I loved it! We went back again for our wedding bands and worked with Walter. The customer service here is the best! I was not sure what kind of band I wanted and Walter was very patient and made helpful suggestions of what they could do that was different than what was on display. We were referred to Walter at Cornelis Hollander by a mutual friend to help with the design of an engagement ring. Walter was incredibly patient and kind while we sorted through tons of options and designs. He also helped us source a diamond within our budget that was at least half the price of what other jewelers were quoting. He ended up designing a custom ring that is absolutely perfect for me. Wow! This place has gorgeous one-of-a kind jewelry! The location has a nice open feeling with lots of natural light so you can see how the jewelry looks in natural light. I brought my ring in to get it appraised. It is a family run business, Christa, the owner was super nice and introduced me to Walter, her son who went in the back to proceed with the appraisal. In the mean time, I perused and looked at the rings, necklaces, bracelets and other jewelry. They are honest and give great advice. There were so many piece that caught my eye, I'll definitely be back to buy a unique piece of jewelry art!

My wife and I chose Cornelis Hollander after interviewing a couple of top custom jewelers. Walter was perfect for us. They have a portfolio of fabulous designs to start with. My wife Esther and I are both designers and wanted to create something unique to replace her current wedding ring. Walter worked together with Esther capturing her design ideas perfectly. He did 3D imaging first, then when details were worked out, he did a 3D printing of the ring to ensure everything is perfect before manufacturing it. We couldn’t be happier with the results! We wouldn’t go to anyone else and give them our highest recommendation!

I had an engagement ring made at Cornelis Hollander in March. It turned out more beautiful than I could’ve hoped for. Walter was very accommodating and helped me find the perfect one. What an Incredible Experience. Cornelis Hollander deserve 10 Stars! To start, Walter is an incredible jewelry designer. I worked with Tina, Katie and Walter. I wanted a new design for a bracelet that was made in Greece. The piece is called "Evil Eye" or Mati" in Greek. The original design was made with paracord. I took the bracelet to Cornelis Hollander. My initial meeting was with Tina. We discussed options and Walter came up with some great redesign ideas. During to design process, I met with Tina, Katie and Walter. We put our heads together decided on a redesign of the bracelet. Since the main piece of the bracelet is 925 Sterling Silver, and Murano glass, we made the bracelet part in 925 Sterling Silver. The entire staff at Cornelis Hollander are such warm-hearted and very friendly people. They make you feel like they knew you for years. Our next project will be designing a new Sapphire/Diamond ring. My boyfriend and I had gone to multiple retail locations to start the process of figuring out what we liked for engagement rings. At every storefront location, it seemed like the process was getting harder and much more stressful. The last stop was Cornelis Hollander. Walking in we knew immediately this experience was going to be different. Not only did it feel like the process of figuring out what we liked and wanted, we were confident in moving forward with custom engagement rings. We worked with Katie, who understood the initial overwhelm and was so helpful. With our experience, and the contrasting experience with other Jewlers, I’d highly recommend coming here. I’m also a vet, just returned home and the loud noises of big Jewlers/the flashy bs don’t help me when trying to stay focused, too many people creates a sense of anxiety. I can’t speak highly of this location and their team enough. It’s quiet, a one on one experience that feels like they have your best interest at heart. You can tell they love what they do.

I chose Cornelis Hollander because of their unique designs. I just could not find anything like this at any of the chain stores. When I look at the ring, the best word that I can use to describe it is ... substantial. Katie and the team were amazing to deal with. Their process using CAD images assured that the engagement ring came out perfectly. We went back and forth with comments and design revisions until the ring was just the way I wanted it. Walter and the staff at Cornelis Hollander Designs are awesome! Had zero experience with shopping for jewelry, let alone designing a custom piece. They took the time to show me multiple rings and point out the features that accentuated each one, respectively. We compiled the elements I liked from several of them. Within 48hrs I had a rendering of what the ring would look like (didn’t even realize I was designing it with them). They took my feedback, we went back and forth several times (staff is amazingly patient) until it was perfect, and then delivered perfection! The biggest part of this was using stones from an existing ring with heavy sentimental value. I never once felt that I had to worry about the quality of the work, the preservation of the stones or the beauty of the finished ring. The only hard part was hiding it while traveling with my then girlfriend, and now fiancée. Thanks for perfect ring for a perfect person!

I first met Cornelis back in 2006 when I purchased a car from him. He was an absolute lunatic in all the best ways, and it showed in both his taste in cars and his stunningly unique jewelry designs. I loved that he stayed in touch with not only creating ultra high end custom pieces but also offering lines of unique, stunning, very affordable things as well.Since he passed away, his wife and son have been keeping things going, and Walter has done a great job filling in his father's shoes, keeping with the same principles of exceptional service that makes their business a no-brainer.I needed to buy an engagement ring about 6 years ago, when Cornelis was still with us, and he took my grandmother's old diamond and designed an absolutely stunning piece around it (pictured below). When it was unfortunately stolen, Jeweler's Mutual insurance paid completely for its replacement, and Walter's recreation of it was so perfect, down to his selection of the diamond, that I literally couldn't tell the difference if you put a gun to my head and a loupe in my hand, and the whole process couldn't have possibly been more hassle free (I don't even live in the state anymore, so everything done with the ring, from first purchase to replacement - was all done over the phone and email) I can't say what I paid, but let me just say that it was un-freaking-believably reasonable.Cornelis also took care of my family's request to have some custom pieces made in memorial of my grandparents. Both Cornelis and Walter have been so good to my family that as long as Walter keeps the business going, he will be getting every single jewelry job that I ever need. It was very sad when Cornelis passed - everyone wore orange on the day of his funeral - even me, who couldn't make it there - but Walter has truly filled his eccentric father's shoes and the business is as spectacular as it ever was.

I worked in the jewelry industry for a few years and know how unscrupulous some stores can be. I was so impressed with the care I received when I chose the new setting for my stone. Walter took all the time I needed to select the perfect setting. I was blessed to be one of Cornelis last customers and he spent time exposing everything. Our first experience with Cornelis was in 2002 when my husband Peter surprised me with a beautiful ring. It was the classic white gold ring where the diamond sets on top of a heart shaped trio of diamonds, the most unique ring I had ever seen. I still love it today! That was the start of our experience with Cornelis and his outstanding designs. Over the next several years, we made it a point to drop in and see the new designs and Peter thoroughly enjoyed talking with Cornelis about anything and everything. And I had the opportunity to buy more jewelry! Peter came home from a fishing trip in Tahiti with a very large black pearl and he just knew that Cornelis was the person to design the perfect ring to best display this magnificent large pearl. I even had Cornelis design a pair of very unique drop earrings made from both yellow and white gold that I had designed in my head and he created them for me exactly as I had pictured. I continue to get so many compliments on them. I never shopped for jewelry anywhere else. Of course it was the beautiful and contemporary designs but Cornelis added that extra special touch with his casual, easy going personality that we liked so much. We have been retired for the last few years so unfortunately not able to buy more jewelry. We do think of Cornelis and of course reminded of him every time I wear one of his designs. I purchased a custom wedding band and engagement ring set that Cornelis made specifically for my fiancé and now wife of Ten Years! My soulmate constantly gets compliments from everyone, everywhere we go. “I’ve never seen a ring like that” “ that’s awesome where did you get that?” My wife says and you never will! She says this was made just for me.....& her eyes sparkle when she says it! I think anyone can go to a box store and buy a mass produced price of jewelry, but why would you? You get one true love in life! Why not get your partner something as rare, special, unique, and beautiful as they are and what they mean to you! This is the most attention and customer service friendly place I’ve ever purchased jewelry from. I have high dollar watches etc from other boutiques however they don’t follow up. I still get follow up email and calls from CH to make sure I’m happy! I was devastated to hear Cornelis had passed but krista ( sorry if I misspelled that) and his son still carry the torch with integrity, design, and style! Several months ago, my life partner of 27 years passed away, and I was wanting to combine my ring with her rings in remembrance of her. I researched several jewelers in town before choosing CH to design my 20th anniversary diamond ring. I had been saving ideas for over 2 years. I knew I liked specific design elements from several different rings, but I didn’t know how they could all possibly come together. CH had tons of designs that were along the same idea that I was looking for- modern but still looks like an actual engagement ring, and of course unique! We sat down with Walter and went over all of my ideas and pictures I had saved over 2 years. He is a true artist! He took his time and came up with several different designs incorporating all of the details I was looking for. I kept changing little things during the design process, but he remained totally calm and understanding- and kept his sense of humor during the entire process! It took a couple month to complete because I kept changing things, but the final ring is exactly everything that I wanted!!! We were so happy with the process and the end result that I had him make my mother’s engagement ring into a pendant a couple weeks later! We will definitely be using him for all of our jewelry needs going forward. We just can’t recommend him enough!!

My husband went to Cornelius Hollander for a brand new wedding ring after our 12 yr wedding anniversary. Tina was his salesperson , even though the ring wasn't ready by the first date we were given , because Tina said the designer was a perfectionist. I was okay with waiting a little longer after 12 yrs . My husband designed the ring custom made just for me, so it was worth the wait. I am very pleased with the finished product! Thanks Tina! My husband and I found this place after leaving another jeweler in tears. We wanted to encorporate my engagement ring with my two grandmothers' rings. The first jeweler we tried kept all three rings for 8 weeks only to give us an option for a completely new ring using NONE of the other rings we already had! So dumb! We drove by Cornelis Hollander and even though they were closing in 30 minutes, they took rings, listened to what I wanted and said they'd have a plan by the next morning. Not only did they send me a sketch of my ring, but they also did a 3-D mockup so I could see how it would look. They also had it completed in 8 days! I am so happy with my ring. They will be our jeweler for life! We were very sad to hear of Cornelis's passing, but know his son and the rest of the staff will easily continue the highest level of service and design.
