I had an engagement ring made at Cornelis Hollander in March. It turned out more beautiful than I could’ve hoped for. Walter was very accommodating and helped me find the perfect one. He asked questions and really worked with me to find something within my price range. I proposed, and my now fiancé, absolutely loves her ring! Super grateful for Walter and his services. Their quality is exceptional! All their pieces have perfect finishes. Their attention to detail is one of a kind. My husband picked the perfect engagement ring for me 18 years ago, along with our wedding bands. Sadly he recently past away from Covid -19. I will treasure those rings for the rest of my life and will pass them on to my daughter for her to treasure as well. I can trust they will last forever due to their quality. My husband went to Cornelius Hollander for a brand new wedding ring after our 12 yr wedding anniversary. Tina was his salesperson , even though the ring wasn't ready by the first date we were given , because Tina said the designer was a perfectionist. I was okay with waiting a little longer after 12 yrs . My husband designed the ring custom made just for me, so it was worth the wait. I am very pleased with the finished product! Thanks Tina! I look at my ring and smile everyday . I absolutely Love it!

We just picked up our engagement ring and couldn't be happier with the work, service and experience we had here. We needed a custom ring made from three heirloom rings that we already had. Other jewelers that we talked to were either not excited about doing the work or wanted too long to do it. Walking in the door and meeting Charlene, Cornelis and Walter made us feel instantly at ease and like they had our best interests at heart.. Walter sent us a custom design that was exactly what we talked about within days, and had the ring done in less than two weeks! All of this happened at a very fair affordable price, we will be returning soon to purchase my wedding band.

I was very fortunate and inherited several pieces of jewelry from my Mother in Law. I brought these pieces to Walter Hollander of Cornelis Hollander Designs. He redesigned and created one diamond platinum ring out of two rings. The ring contains one round old-mine cut natural with twelve round brilliant cut natural diamonds on each side of the diamond. He also repaired several other pieces. Their work is perfection and the Walter’s service amazing! I can highly recommend Cornelis Hollander Designs for all of your jewelry needs.

I had been looking for a custom engagement ring that felt different from the usual designs, and I liked that Cornelis Hollander offered a more personal design process. During the consultation, I was able to explain what I had in mind and see how the idea could come together. The team was patient and easy to talk to, and I never felt rushed into making a decision. I especially liked being involved in the design instead of simply choosing something from a display case. The finished ring felt much more personal because of that experience.

Okay, so I never should have looked at the ads, that would have saved me lots of money. But, I did, and then a detour had to occur so I could see the rings in person (we were in Sedona). First, I was in touch with Walter and later Tina from Hollander Jewelry. Tina was the person with whom I met after our correspondence. She was also the person who looked up all the prices of the rings that I had seen (in the ad) and lusted for (possibly) and then got back to me via emails prior to my visit. It was inevitable that I would find a ring that I wanted, the question was would I be willing to fork out the money. Well, I did. The ring arrived (Tina kept in touch, so I knew when to expect the ring), which was a good thing because my post office left it at my front door. I don't know what else could have been done because I was supposed to sign for the package, but that issue is "on" my post office, not the store. My ring is utterly lovely and I feel like a young lady who has to stare at her shiny glittery ring.

This is my favorite jewelry store to go and look around. All the jewelry is hand made and one of a kind! Always kind people working here that help you out and explain everything clear. We got our Wedding rings here, after talking with the owner he supplied us with what jewel works with the right metal we choose for our rings. It was a quick process and we are more than happy with the experience!!

I purchased a custom wedding band and engagement ring set that Cornelis made specifically for my fiancé and now wife of Ten Years! My soulmate constantly gets compliments from everyone, everywhere we go. “I’ve never seen a ring like that” “ that’s awesome where did you get that?” My wife says and you never will! She says this was made just for me.....& her eyes sparkle when she says it! I think anyone can go to a box store and buy a mass produced price of jewelry, but why would you? You get one true love in life! Why not get your partner something as rare, special, unique, and beautiful as they are and what they mean to you! This is the most attention and customer service friendly place I’ve ever purchased jewelry from. I have high dollar watches etc from other boutiques however they don’t follow up. I still get follow up email and calls from CH to make sure I’m happy! I was devastated to hear Cornelis had passed but krista ( sorry if I misspelled that) and his son still carry the torch with integrity, design, and style! I don’t usually take time to write reviews, but they took time to make my day special! It’s only fair to be honest and tell you how great this family and brand truly are. My husband and I had such a great experience here when we bought both of our wedding bands in spring 2024. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, and we honestly had so much fun customizing our rings!A couple weeks ago, my wedding band broke, so I reached out to see if there was anything they could do. I’ve since moved away from Scottsdale, but Danielle was so helpful and made the whole process completely stress-free. They sent me a shipping label so I could mail my ring in, repaired it, and shipped it right back to me at no cost. I really appreciated how easy they made everything, especially since we originally purchased our rings almost two years ago.It’s so nice to know you’re taken care of even after the sale, and the fact that they were willing to handle everything remotely since I no longer live in Scottsdale meant a lot. I chose Cornelis Hollander because of their unique designs. I just could not find anything like this at any of the chain stores. When I look at the ring, the best word that I can use to describe it is ... substantial. Katie and the team were amazing to deal with. Their process using CAD images assured that the engagement ring came out perfectly. We went back and forth with comments and design revisions until the ring was just the way I wanted it. I adore this place! I have never been much of a jewelry gal ( which i know sound unbelievable), mainly because i always end up loosing it, so I do not even want to risk owning it. However, when I stumbled into Cornelis Hollander's shop, I instantly fell in love and knew my issue with loosing jewelry would soon gone. They have a two piece engagement ring that is to die for. I loved trying it on. The design was so unique and gorgeous I did not want to take it off. Walter was the one that helped us. He was incredible. Cornelis designed my beautiful wedding ring over 10 years ago and it is beautiful! It still looks as beautiful as the first day I got it because every time I’m in AZ I pop in for a cleaning and examination. They have tightened any stones/settings and resized for me and they do amazing work in a short turn around time. Danielle is so helpful and kind and really works to accommodate my visits and needs. I will never trust anyone else with my ring and find the visits are well worth the peace of mind.

Dec 2020With my upcoming wedding anniversary coming up, I went and met with Walter to look at the various ring designs in person for a custom piece my husband was getting me. Mind you, I already knew that my new ring would be a Cornelis Hollander band- I fell in love with his designs the first time I saw them at least 10yrs ago and I finally was ready to get what I really wanted...And I wanted a Green Tourmaline ring like the one Cornelis Hollander designed!He was very helpful even at our first in person consultation and then we kept in contact over email within the next weeks with the various details of the ring design and cost estimates. At no point did I feel pressured or like Walter was being a "sales person", the whole process really felt casual, flexible... and I felt heard and understood and never rushed or pushed. When I got the visual of the approximate ring, I was so excited and then when I went in to try the wax sample, I was elated- their rings have a heft and a bold look to them that I just love and I didn't have a doubt it would be gorgeous once cast. I am in love with this beauty!Walter, thank you so much for your patience and working with me to get the piece I've been wanting for a decade! I feel so proud just to have this little piece of your father's creative legacy!

We worked with Walter designing my dream engagement ring. He was very attentive to what I was looking for and designed a few versions until I was happy with every aspect of the design. Walter had several suggestions that worked out great and made my ring unique. He emailed me 3D versions so I can get a visual on each version. I selected the design I wanted then I was presented with a wax version, so I could try it on before making the actual ring. When the ring was complete, we were extremely happy with the finished product, the beautiful high-quality craftsmanship was evident. The location of the store in the Scottsdale Arts District totally fits the vibe of this store. This was my first time at Cornelis Hollander and I'm happy to keep coming back to Walter for gorgeous jewelry.

Walter and the team at Cornelis Hollander Jewelry were outstanding. From email response to in-person customer service, I felt confident that they would be able to handle my needs. My first job was fairly standard with the sizing of a platinum band, while my second job was to restore an antique heirloom ring. The job entailed shank replacement where yellow gold was used instead of rose gold plus sapphire replacement to match the original center stone. Both rings were completed beautifully, but Walter exceeded my expectations by ensuring my antique was fully restored with new prongs to ensure it will last another 100+ years. I made an appointment and they spent over two hours with me reviewing the items I had, and offering design ideas for new pieces.
