We just picked up our engagement ring and couldn't be happier with the work, service and experience we had here. We needed a custom ring made from three heirloom rings that we already had. Other jewelers that we talked to were either not excited about doing the work or wanted too long to do it. Walking in the door and meeting Charlene, Cornelis and Walter made us feel instantly at ease and like they had our best interests at heart.. Walter sent us a custom design that was exactly what we talked about within days, and had the ring done in less than two weeks! All of this happened at a very fair affordable price, we will be returning soon to purchase my wedding band.

I love using Cornelis Hollander for all my jewelry needs. Everything I’ve had done is custom, but their catalogue is so unique. Walter asked great questions to draw up mock-ups of what I was looking for. Then, he adjusted the models with my feedback and crafted some beautiful pieces. This is a diligent family owned business that matches larger companies in their quality materials and prices, but they have such a unique style. I love telling my friends about this place - I get so many compliments on my jewelry I have to tell them where it is from. Favorite piece is a ring that Walter drew up a model of from a family heirloom. I had lost one of the two pearl earrings, and Walter made the one I had left into a beautiful ring. Love that it is repurposed and keeps meaning but is now a unique style that gets tons of compliments.

Following the Supreme Court decision, we had seen Cornelis Hollander's ads in the Echo magazine. When my partner and I decided to go to California to get married, we appreciated his advertising geared to the "community" so we decided to go to his shop, and we are so glad we did. Excellent customer service! I had a pair of gold/ diamond earrings that my husband had given me 25 years ago. The clasp had broken And I brought it to Cornelis Hollander for repair. They did such a beautiful job restoring them to the original luster! The repair cost was so reasonable as well I was surprised! I wish I could give them more stars. Walter and the staff at Cornelis Hollander Designs are awesome! Had zero experience with shopping for jewelry, let alone designing a custom piece. They took the time to show me multiple rings and point out the features that accentuated each one, respectively. We compiled the elements I liked from several of them. Within 48hrs I had a rendering of what the ring would look like (didn’t even realize I was designing it with them). They took my feedback, we went back and forth several times (staff is amazingly patient) until it was perfect, and then delivered perfection! The biggest part of this was using stones from an existing ring with heavy sentimental value. I never once felt that I had to worry about the quality of the work, the preservation of the stones or the beauty of the finished ring. The only hard part was hiding it while traveling with my then girlfriend, and now fiancée. Thanks for perfect ring for a perfect person!

My husband and I have had nothing short of a positive experience with Cornelis. Both our wedding rings were custom made by Cornelis - and we LOVE them. I also had my pearls restrung and some earrings made - all of which came out perfect! Their quality is exceptional! All their pieces have perfect finishes. Their attention to detail is one of a kind. My husband picked the perfect engagement ring for me 18 years ago, along with our wedding bands. Sadly he recently past away from Covid -19. I have a Cornelis Hollander wedding ring that I purchased elsewhere many years ago. I LOVE my ring. It is stunning and unique as are all of the Cornelis Hollander designs. Unfortunately, I developed a gold contact allergy and went into Cornelis Hollander Jewelry Designs to have it reset in platinum. I happened to run into Tina who helped me when I originally bought the ring. It was a wonderful gift to see her again and she was very understanding about my allergy and very helpful. ( I have gone to other jewelers who were not as understanding about my allergy regarding other pieces.) I haven't gotten the ring back yet but I can't wait! If you want a beautiful piece of jewelry from a great, helpful crew, look no further!

She helped me through the process of narrowing things down then helped me step by step with all of the variables that come with an engagement ring. Loved my ring buying experience. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and I even got a great deal. I was terrified when starting my search for an engagement ring but the staff at Cornelis put me at ease and assured me they will try to find me a ring that works within my budget and they have easy to understand and qualify for financing. Outstanding customer service. I had a very special case, where my beautiful ring of over 23 years got stolen during a summer vacation. This ring was a gift from my dear mother in law. I was able to track and contact the designers, which are Cornelis Hollander. The care and personalized service I received was like no other. They provided me with a detailed document that described the specifications of the ring precisely to present it to my insurance company. It is not easy to provide specifications of a ring that was purchased over 23 years ago. But with patience and their expertise, they were able to do so. This was a very emotional matter to me, Walter and Christa and their whole team were empathetic and very supportive. I can't wait to work with them, hopefully soon, to design a replica of my ring to honor my mother in law. Thank you Cornelis Hollander and the whole team, you have set the bar very high !

I researched several jewelers in town before choosing CH to design my 20th anniversary diamond ring. I had been saving ideas for over 2 years. I knew I liked specific design elements from several different rings, but I didn't know how they could all possibly come together. CH had tons of designs that were along the same idea that I was looking for- modern but still looks like an actual engagement ring, and of course unique! We sat down with Walter and went over all of my ideas and pictures I had saved over 2 years. He is a true artist! He took his time and came up with several different designs incorporating all of the details I was looking for. I kept changing little things during the design process, but he remained totally calm and understanding- and kept his sense of humor during the entire process! It took a couple month to complete because I kept changing things, but the final ring is exactly everything that I wanted!!! We were so happy with the process and the end result that I had him make my mother's engagement ring into a pendant a couple weeks later! We will definitely be using him for all of our jewelry needs going forward. We just can't recommend him enough!!

I have been a customer for almost 20 years now. I traveled from Denver to Scottsadle to get an engagement ring created...for round 2 ; ) Cornelis designed my first tension set engagement ring that had my grandmother's diamond in it. So when it was time to re-design, knowing I wanted to use the same stone, there was no place else I was going to go. It was a pleasure to meet and work with Walter, and I was sorry to hear about the passing of his father. I brought my first ring that his dad designed with me, and I saw his eyes light up upon holding it. Once we knew I was going with another Hollander design, he asked to purchase it from me. That meant so much...as it was from another time in my life, but it held many great memories and I hope someone else enjoys wearing it as much as I did. And as for my NEW ring, it's AMAZING and I get so many compliments on it. I very much feel like part of the family at Hollander and would not go anywhere else for my jewelry needs. Although as Walter said, " I'm happy to make you anything you like, but no more engagement rings!"
