1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the website, services, or tools provided by Cornelis Hollander Jewelry Designs (“we,” “us,” or “our”), including our ring builder tool, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). Please read them carefully before using our website or services. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

These Terms apply to all visitors, customers, and others who access or use our services, whether in-store, online, or via mobile communications.

2. Products & Services

Cornelis Hollander Jewelry Designs offers custom and designer jewelry, including engagement rings, wedding bands, and fine jewelry. We reserve the right to:

  • Modify, suspend, or discontinue any product or service at any time without notice
  • Limit the availability of products or services to any person, geographic area, or jurisdiction
  • Refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time

All product descriptions, images, and pricing are subject to change without notice. We make every effort to display our products accurately; however, we cannot guarantee that your screen’s display of colors and details will be perfectly accurate to the physical product.

3. Custom & Made-to-Order Jewelry

Many of our pieces are custom-designed or made to order. By placing a custom order, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • Design Approval: You are responsible for reviewing and approving all design details, including metal type, stone specifications, engraving, and sizing before production begins.
  • Production Timeline: Custom pieces typically require 4–8 weeks for production. Timelines are estimates and may vary.
  • Deposits: A non-refundable deposit may be required to begin production on custom orders. The deposit amount will be communicated at the time of order.
  • Modifications: Once production has begun, modifications may not be possible or may incur additional charges.
  • Final Approval: You will be given the opportunity to review your piece upon completion. Any concerns must be raised before the item leaves our studio.

4. Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in US dollars and are subject to change without notice. We accept major credit cards, checks, and other payment methods as communicated at the time of purchase.

  • Sales tax will be applied where required by law.
  • Payment in full (or final payment after deposit) is required before an item is released.
  • We are not responsible for any bank fees, currency conversion fees, or other charges applied by your financial institution.

5. Returns, Exchanges & Repairs

Ready-to-Ship Items: Ready-to-ship items may be returned or exchanged within 14 days of receipt, provided the item is unworn, undamaged, and in its original packaging. A store credit or exchange will be issued; refunds to the original payment method are at our discretion.

Custom & Made-to-Order Items: All custom and made-to-order pieces are final sale and are not eligible for return or refund. Exchanges or modifications after delivery may be considered on a case-by-case basis and may incur additional charges.

Repairs & Resizing: We offer repair and resizing services. Please contact us at [email protected] or 480.423.5000 to discuss your needs. Fees may apply depending on the scope of work.

We are not responsible for damage caused by normal wear, improper care, or third-party alterations.

6. Warranties

Cornelis Hollander Jewelry Designs warrants that all jewelry is crafted with quality materials and workmanship. Our warranty covers manufacturing defects for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase.

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage resulting from misuse, accidents, or neglect
  • Loss or theft
  • Alterations or repairs performed by a third party
  • Stone loss due to improper care or damage

To make a warranty claim, please contact us with proof of purchase and a description of the issue.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on our website and ring builder tool — including text, graphics, logos, images, design tools, and software — is the property of Cornelis Hollander Jewelry Designs and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any of our content without our prior written consent.

Custom designs created through our ring builder remain the intellectual property of Cornelis Hollander Jewelry Designs until full payment is received, at which point ownership of the physical piece transfers to the customer. We reserve the right to use images of completed custom pieces for portfolio and marketing purposes unless you request otherwise in writing.

8. Ring Builder Tool

Our online ring builder is provided as a design aid and visualization tool. By using the ring builder, you agree that:

  • Rendered images are approximations and may not perfectly reflect the finished piece
  • Saving a configuration does not constitute a purchase or reservation
  • We are not responsible for errors in pricing estimates generated by the tool
  • We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue the ring builder at any time

9. Text Messaging Program

Program Name: Cornelis Hollander Jewelry Designs Text Messaging Program

Program Description: When you opt in to receive text messages from Cornelis Hollander Jewelry Designs, you may receive SMS and MMS messages related to your ring design, saved configurations, appointment scheduling, order updates, and related communications. These messages are sent to help you stay connected with us regarding your jewelry inquiry.

Consent & Opt-In: By checking the SMS consent checkbox on the Cornelis Hollander Jewelry Designs ring builder and providing your phone number, you expressly consent to receive text messages at the phone number you provided. Consent is not a condition of purchase or use of the ring builder tool.

Message Frequency: Message frequency varies depending on your interaction with us. Typical messages include appointment confirmations, follow-ups on saved ring designs, and responses to your inquiries. You will not receive more than 3 messages per month unless you initiate additional conversations.

Message & Data Rates: Message and data rates may apply. Please contact your wireless carrier for details. Cornelis Hollander Jewelry Designs is not responsible for any fees charged by your carrier.

Opt-Out: You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive a one-time confirmation, and no further messages will be sent unless you opt back in.

Supported Carriers: Messages are supported on all major US wireless carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product or service in question.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona.
