I adore this place! I have never been much of a jewelry gal ( which i know sound unbelievable), mainly because i always end up loosing it, so I do not even want to risk owning it. However, when I stumbled into Cornelis Hollander's shop, I instantly fell in love and knew my issue with loosing jewelry would soon gone. They have a two piece engagement ring that is to die for. I loved trying it on. The design was so unique and gorgeous I did not want to take it off. Walter was the one that helped us. He was incredible. I would suggest stopping by to take a look at their wonderful pieces, even if you are not in the market for some new jewelry.

Walter and the team at Cornelis Hollander Jewelry were outstanding. From email response to in-person customer service, I felt confident that they would be able to handle my needs. My first job was fairly standard with the sizing of a platinum band, while my second job was to restore an antique heirloom ring. The job entailed shank replacement where yellow gold was used instead of rose gold plus sapphire replacement to match the original center stone. Both rings were completed beautifully, but Walter exceeded my expectations by ensuring my antique was fully restored with new prongs to ensure it will last another 100+ years. I highly recommend Cornelis Hollander Jewlery whether you want a custom piece, a more traditional piece or just your everyday repairs.

Cornelis Hollander created and absolutely beautiful engagement ring based on my exact specifications. I had issues with other designers but as soon as I got in touch with CH, they assured me they can handle the job and get it done in time. My husband and I found this place after leaving another jeweler in tears. We wanted to encorporate my engagement ring with my two grandmothers' rings. The first jeweler we tried kept all three rings for 8 weeks only to give us an option for a completely new ring using NONE of the other rings we already had! So dumb! We drove by Cornelis Hollander and even though they were closing in 30 minutes, they took rings, listened to what I wanted and said they'd have a plan by the next morning. Not only did they send me a sketch of my ring, but they also did a 3-D mockup so I could see how it would look. They also had it completed in 8 days! I am so happy with my ring. They will be our jeweler for life! We were very sad to hear of Cornelis's passing, but know his son and the rest of the staff will easily continue the highest level of service and design. I purchased a BEAUTIFUL wedding ring, a pair of diamond studs, and two high end watches from Cornelis. He had been my jeweler to go to because I TRUST him completely. Not only his designs are exquisite but his service is beyond satisfactory. I lost two small diamonds in the setting and Cornelis, not only replaced them at no cost, but he cleaned and polished the ring for me. I miss Cornelis but I have no doubt the team he left behind is doing an excellent job as the legend himself.

Wow! This place has gorgeous one-of-a kind jewelry! The location has a nice open feeling with lots of natural light so you can see how the jewelry looks in natural light. I brought my ring in to get it appraised. It is a family run business, Christa, the owner was super nice and introduced me to Walter, her son who went in the back to proceed with the appraisal. In the mean time, I perused and looked at the rings, necklaces, bracelets and other jewelry. They are honest and give great advice. There were so many piece that caught my eye, I'll definitely be back to buy a unique piece of jewelry art!

This is my absolute favorite store! I have four rings that I have ordered and designed through CH in the past 20 years. I can’t say enough good things about their work, quality, and designs. I get more compliments on my rings and I can’t stop looking at them. I am already thinking of getting another ring or necklace. It was a pleasure to work and meet Cornelis in the past. I purchased a custom wedding band and engagement ring set that Cornelis made specifically for my fiancé and now wife of Ten Years! My soulmate constantly gets compliments from everyone, everywhere we go. “I’ve never seen a ring like that” “ that’s awesome where did you get that?” My wife says and you never will! She says this was made just for me.....& her eyes sparkle when she says it! I think anyone can go to a box store and buy a mass produced price of jewelry, but why would you? You get one true love in life! Why not get your partner something as rare, special, unique, and beautiful as they are and what they mean to you! This is the most attention and customer service friendly place I’ve ever purchased jewelry from. I have high dollar watches etc from other boutiques however they don’t follow up. I still get follow up email and calls from CH to make sure I’m happy! I was devastated to hear Cornelis had passed but krista ( sorry if I misspelled that) and his son still carry the torch with integrity, design, and style! I don’t usually take time to write reviews, but they took time to make my day special! It’s only fair to be honest and tell you how great this family and brand truly are. My jewelry purchase and experience with Cornelis Hollander has been exceptional! The quality and uniqueness of the designer piece I selected as my wedding ring, continues to impress even after almost 20 years. I’ve never stopped attracting compliments on my ring, whether from close friends & family or from random moments in public (even while browsing at large chain jewelry stores). Cornelis Hollander staff has also provided the same excellence in customer service over the years with periodic maintenance, refinishing, resizing, etc. of my ring and by sending thoughtful communications of showcase events and new designs/products. Also worth mentioning is that everything this designer has done regarding my purchase involved secure handling , shipping, & insuring across the states, as I reside on the east coast and they are based out of AZ. My wedding ring is an original CH design. Was honored to meet the designer (Cornelis Hollander) many years ago at the Scottsdale store. Now his son Walter, designed a matching band for my wedding ring, he took my vision and was able to create the most unique band, it is gorgeous! The apple did not fall far from the tree. Walter is fantastic to work with. I love my “new” wedding ring set - if that is even possible. Exceptional workmanship and design. Will be back for a second band. My son also purchased the engagement ring for his fiancé - a fabulous ring from CH. Walter and his staff were extremely helpful and made the purchase a pleasant experience for my son and his fiancé. Our first experience with Cornelis was in 2002 when my husband Peter surprised me with a beautiful ring. It was the classic white gold ring where the diamond sets on top of a heart shaped trio of diamonds, the most unique ring I had ever seen. I still love it today! That was the start of our experience with Cornelis and his outstanding designs. Over the next several years, we made it a point to drop in and see the new designs and Peter thoroughly enjoyed talking with Cornelis about anything and everything. And I had the opportunity to buy more jewelry! Peter came home from a fishing trip in Tahiti with a very large black pearl and he just knew that Cornelis was the person to design the perfect ring to best display this magnificent large pearl. I even had Cornelis design a pair of very unique drop earrings made from both yellow and white gold that I had designed in my head and he created them for me exactly as I had pictured. I continue to get so many compliments on them. I never shopped for jewelry anywhere else. Of course it was the beautiful and contemporary designs but Cornelis added that extra special touch with his casual, easy going personality that we liked so much. We have been retired for the last few years so unfortunately not able to buy more jewelry. We do think of Cornelis and of course reminded of him every time I wear one of his designs. Walter, Tina and Charlene treated me like family and made me the most beautiful wedding ring. Very professional and good communication. The design is everything I was looking for: strong but feminine, heavy duty but delicate. Truly a work of art, which as an artist I appreciate more than they could know! I researched several jewelers in town before choosing CH to design my 20th anniversary diamond ring. I had been saving ideas for over 2 years. I knew I liked specific design elements from several different rings, but I didn't know how they could all possibly come together. CH had tons of designs that were along the same idea that I was looking for- modern but still looks like an actual engagement ring, and of course unique! We sat down with Walter and went over all of my ideas and pictures I had saved over 2 years. He is a true artist! He took his time and came up with several different designs incorporating all of the details I was looking for. I kept changing little things during the design process, but he remained totally calm and understanding- and kept his sense of humor during the entire process! It took a couple month to complete because I kept changing things, but the final ring is exactly everything that I wanted!!! We were so happy with the process and the end result that I had him make my mother's engagement ring into a pendant a couple weeks later! We will definitely be using him for all of our jewelry needs going forward. We just can't recommend him enough!!

Their quality is exceptional! All their pieces have perfect finishes. Their attention to detail is one of a kind. My husband picked the perfect engagement ring for me 18 years ago, along with our wedding bands. Sadly he recently past away from Covid -19. I will treasure those rings for the rest of my life and will pass them on to my daughter for her to treasure as well. I can trust they will last forever due to their quality. Walter is a true artist and genius designer. We came to him with a very special family heirloom engagement ring we wanted to design to not only protect the 3ct marquise, but utilize the original baguettes into a “starship alien engagement ring”. He totally exceeded our expectations in both visually and structurally. I’d recommend anyone here to either purchase a beautiful and unique design or create their own with the aid of Walter’s talent. What an Incredible Experience. Cornelis Hollander deserve 10 Stars! To start, Walter is an incredible jewelry designer. I worked with Tina, Katie and Walter. I wanted a new design for a bracelet that was made in Greece. The piece is called "Evil Eye" or Mati" in Greek. The original design was made with paracord. I took the bracelet to Cornelis Hollander. My initial meeting was with Tina. We discussed options and Walter came up with some great redesign ideas. During to design process, I met with Tina, Katie and Walter. We put our heads together decided on a redesign of the bracelet. Since the main piece of the bracelet is 925 Sterling Silver, and Murano glass, we made the bracelet part in 925 Sterling Silver. The entire staff at Cornelis Hollander are such warm-hearted and very friendly people. They make you feel like they knew you for years. Our next project will be designing a new Sapphire/Diamond ring. My wife has been collecting Cornelius Hollander jewelry for 35 years. Not only are they wonderful pieces of jewelry but Works of Art. Cornelius was instrumental in founding a major change in the jewelry industry by making his custom pieces wearable art. I can't tell you the number of complements my wife has received through the years when she wears her Hollander jewelry. I had a number of family heirloom pieces that I wanted to recreate into custom designed, modern pieces. Tina and crew were OUTSTANDING!! I made an appointment and they spent over two hours with me reviewing the items I had, and offering design ideas for new pieces. They provided final designs via CAD visuals and their recommendations were incredible! They helped consolidate an overwhelming number of pieces into a few beautiful, modern pieces that will preserve my family heirlooms and create items I will enjoy wearing. I had been looking for a unique, modern style for my wedding ring for a while when I met another girl whose ring caught my eye. Following her advice, I checked out the Cornelis Hollander store when I was in old town Scottsdale one day, and just fell in love with his designs. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. And unlike chain stores, where what you see is it, here they encourage you to be creative, pick and choose different parts of different rings that you like to come up with something truly your own. And Cornelis himself is there most of the time to help with the design process. We ended up feeling like he was more of a friend than just a jeweler. I get random people complimenting me on my ring all of the time now. Highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I had gone to multiple retail locations to start the process of figuring out what we liked for engagement rings. At every storefront location, it seemed like the process was getting harder and much more stressful. The last stop was Cornelis Hollander. Walking in we knew immediately this experience was going to be different. Not only did it feel like the process of figuring out what we liked and wanted, we were confident in moving forward with custom engagement rings. We worked with Katie, who understood the initial overwhelm and was so helpful. With our experience, and the contrasting experience with other Jewlers, I’d highly recommend coming here. I’m also a vet, just returned home and the loud noises of big Jewlers/the flashy bs don’t help me when trying to stay focused, too many people creates a sense of anxiety. I can’t speak highly of this location and their team enough. It’s quiet, a one on one experience that feels like they have your best interest at heart. You can tell they love what they do.

I was given a diamond ring that has been in a drawer for over 5 years. It was lovely, but not my style. I took the ring to Cornelis and asked him to reset it in a different design. I picked it up today and it took my breath away. The ring is exquisite! It brought tears to my eyes, because instead of being kept in a drawer these diamonds will be kept on my finger. My experiences at Cornelis Hollander Jewelry Designs have been very positive. I have not been able to wear my wedding ring or engagement ring for many years. Both were too big. I had gone to another jeweler first for my wedding ring and they said they could not fix it. After Hollander's did a great job fixing my wedding ring, I decided to get another setting for my engagement ring. Even my husband commented on how nice it looks. So much nicer than the original setting. Since I have not compared prices, I cannot comment on cost. However, I definitely would recommend the quality of their work.
